Job Title: Landscape Construction Sales/Business Development
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
The Landscape Construction Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships for custom and large-scale landscape construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, site visits, and cold calling.
- Meet with prospective clients to understand project goals, site conditions, and budget parameters.
- Develop and present detailed proposals and estimates for landscape construction projects, including hardscapes, softscapes, irrigation, grading, and drainage.
- Collaborate with design, estimating, and operations teams to ensure accuracy of proposals and feasibility of project scope.
- Negotiate contracts, close sales, and ensure a smooth handoff to the operations team for project execution.
- Maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, property managers, and developers to build long-term partnerships.
- Track all sales activities in SalesForce and provide regular updates and forecasts to leadership.
- Stay current on industry trends, construction codes, materials, and techniques.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in landscape construction sales or related field (commercial construction, outdoor living, site development).
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a construction or service-based industry.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, site drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Title: Landscape Maintenance Sales/Business Development
Job Type: Full-time
Department: Sales/Business Development
Reports To: President
The Landscape Maintenance Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and selling commercial and residential landscape maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, site visits, and referrals.
- Conduct site evaluations and develop customized maintenance proposals based on property needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts and high-quality service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Stay current on industry trends, pricing, competitors, and best practices in landscape maintenance.
- Maintain SalesForce and provide regular sales activity reports to management.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in landscape maintenance or a related field (construction, facilities, etc.)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Position Purpose/Summary
Under limited direction of the Landscape Construction Manager, supervises the work of personnel and oversees projects pertaining to Landscape Construction.
Qualifications:
- Valid SC driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to drive company vehicles
- High school graduate or GED, 5 years supervisory experience, with knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, read maps, record and report data; work independently.
- Strong ability to lead, train and support crew members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be customer service oriented
Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer’s expectations are being met
- Supervise, train and assign work for crew members
- Document and record all work preformed
- Onsite supervision of installation and irrigation crews
- Responsible for safety, equipment and materials needed for daily projects
- Maintain a high-level of quality and efficiency in the field
- Makes recommendations on personnel matters
- Makes recommendations for the repair or replacement of equipment and vehicles
- Work closely with Construction Field Manager
- Any additional duties required
Physical Requirement and Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an outside setting subject to weather conditions
- Will require heavy lifting
Position Purpose/Summary
Under limited direction of the Maintenance Manager, works independently installing, repairing and overseeing existing irrigation systems for each property.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years experience of irrigation installation and repair preferred
- Valid SC driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to drive company vehicles
- High school graduate or GED
- Must be customer service oriented
- Plant identification (turf, trees,, shrubs, weeds)
- Identify infestation of insects and fungus on plant material
- Ability to operate irrigation equipment as well as all construction equipment skid steers, trenchers, excavators etc.
- Read Blue prints and landscape designs
- Read maps, record and report data; work independently
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair multi and two wire irrigation systems
- Operate a voltage /ohm meter
- Operate valve/wiring locator
- Adjust and replace heads
- Document and record all work preformed
- Maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in the field
- Ensure customer’s expectations are being met
- Work closely with Landscape Maintenance Manager
- Responsible for safety and equipment
- Responsible for all spray equipment and preventive maintenance
- Any additional duties required by manager
